Vodka Martini. Shaken, not stirred.

Yes, I wore the Suit among the suits. Getting in a tuxedo is like wearing a leather jacket, maybe a little aged, it changes you. Inside and outside it changes you, for those few hours, in which inevitably you turn yourself into a Bond guy, your thoughts, personality and ways of doing things change. Like when you listen to the music, for those brief moments you are kidnapped by a mysterious force which distorts perspective and renew feelings. This fabulous iconic garment is a D&G one with a precious midnight blue velvet. The finishing touches are up to the brand and trust me, you can easily find the difference. From the quality of the fabric to the seams. I hope you like the video we built, on the other hand for a suit like this a worthy presentation was needed. ;) I thank Nedo Baglioni PH for the creation of this video and as always Alex Apparent PH for the wonderful photos and for the work he daily perform at my side. I was lacking a Walther PPK gun!. Damn it!. Thank you,
JN.

The Prince of Florence

The Prince of Florence

Salve a tutti!.

Hello everyone!.
These beautiful shots are the work of a talented photographer with whom I worked and who I want to thank personally, Johan Anastasiadis .
Under the guise of a wandering traveler, “The Prince of Florence”, begins the ad campaign for the famous Florentine shop. ( www.principedifirenze.com ) Continue reading

Having down to a fine art

Having down to a fine art

I never would have thought of being able to combine a backpack with a smart wear this well! That’s good considering I hadn’t focus on it that much. Let’s just say this, as in this case, we often take advantage of the pure and primitive experimentation to get results, even satisfactory sometimes. In fact, fashion as well as taking advantage of the correlation between the objective realities that surround us; also, applying totally practical and unweighted resources can usually be one of the best creative methods.
I hope you enjoy it.
Have a great week.

Continue reading

I GOT MY EYES ON YOU

I GOT MY EYES ON YOU

We gone crazy.
It happened, after long and endless rainy afternoons I decided to sit down to get two or three shots “passport-style”!. (The ones with closed eyes were clearly pulverized.)
So that’s it, this is how we killed the bad time we had this week (very few hours) and after all, I could even say the result is acceptable.
Which is why we will use this method again, perhaps to show off an outfit or a video.
Bye bye.
JN

) Continue reading

Total Black

Total Black

Ok, here is a very smart outfit which wants to be shown elegant and intelligent at the same time. Practical.
To enhance the comfort of this apparently “uncomfortable” outfit, (because very elegant) and so made up of elements that force and limit the movements, all you need is give freedom to your feet. Believe me, it’s the reason why I opted for the derby model shoe made by Timberland which are extremely comfortable and at the same time with a clean profile and not overly elegant as free of details. If you feel comfortable in a pair of shoes, you can even tolerate being strangled by a Windsor knot.
In fact every time you wear a tie you immediately become a man, people inevitably place you in a professional class pool, or much more, you are exposed to a storm of assumptions and conjectures on what might be your personality. So it is always quite difficult to unfamiliarize a tie you wear, to remove or to don’t care of concepts such as those which mentioned just now. So, in the end, all we could say about this rigorous outfit is that this is definitely a structured one, though it is very dynamic as well.
Ideal for a phlegmatic Sunday full of spare time.
( Almost forgot, do you like our little mare? :D )
Have a nice day people .
JN

Che ve ne pare?. Outfit davvero smart. Ovvero, elegante ed intelligente. Pratico

Pitti Uomo 85 – Part 2

Pitti Uomo 85 – Part 2

Well, according to the statements by Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, Pitti was definitely a success . One of the most successful Pitti with inflows by foreigners and compatriots as well like never before!. A riot of inputs, a total of 30,000 visitors eager to arrive at Pitti for January 7 with the turkey and gammon still in their stomach! . Well, but the truth is an other, the hotels, lodgings and shopping centers were all complaining. He adds, “we have to emphasize the presence of foreign buyers” of course .. Without them we wouldn’t go anywhere. If we were to rely on our incredible ability to export and of exaltation of the product we would literally screwed. Just think on the fact that the exhibitors are already paying good money (thousands Euros) to expose their products into a few square meters areas and don’t even have a parking spot in the outpost of the “Fortezza da Basso” ( which is one the medieval strongholds in Florence ) included in the price. Well, of course, there are “efficient” shuttle services from the most comfortable parking area in Novoli located just on the other side of Florence anyway… .  -.-
Hence, let’s talk about a rising new brand.
MUNN is the brand that I absolutely loved the most. A Korean derivation who wants to break stereotypes by giving new life to items already familiar and consolidated .
New details and research for the model using new materials to brake up the familiar story of the classical language . A real “restyle act” that has not been seen for some time.
The tailor made in Tuscany by ANDREA NERI , SARTORIA PARTENOPEA , DUCHAMP London , HUGOPRATT for CORTOMALTESE , the British of CESARE PACIOTTI and so Doucal’s, L’s Shoes, PirelliPzero and CAMPANILE were some of the 20/30 noteworthy brands of the total 823.
To follow, here are the other visual proposals and my day2 outfit.
